WHAT ABOUT LEARNING TO PRODUCE NANOMATERIALS USING MECHANICAL ENERGY AND CHARACTERIZE THEM USING X-RAYS, ELECTRONS, LASER AND MANY COMPUTATIONAL TOOLS?
Research Project aims to train human resources specialized in the use of experimental Physics techniques, such as Polycrystals X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Raman Spectroscopy (ER), in the characterization of the physical properties of nanomaterials and organic crystals produced by various methods of synthesis, especially mechanochemistry. See the multi-user facilities available to develop the activities in this project: LabCAM, LCME, LDRX and LNLS/CNPEM . Five IC students have already been carrying out experiments in the old LNLS accelerator (UVX, approved proposals for the use of beamlines DXAS, XDS, XDR1).
